2024/25 TRYOUTS

Interested players must pre-register for tryouts, so we can ensure sufficient time for evaluations.

Eligibility:  All 4th - 8th grade girls living within the Redmond High School boundary interested in playing basketball are welcome to attend tryouts. Address verification is required to join the team and a waiver may be obtained in select cases. As part of the Eastside Travel League, we follow the league Player Eligibility policy. Experience level: Many players will have previous basketball experience but all interested girls with a willingness to learn and a desire to improve should try out, especially in the lower grades.

Parents are not permitted in the gym during tryouts but may wait in the gym foyer. 

Tryout results will be posted to our website within 48 hours after our final tryout is complete and parents will be notified by email.

You must accept your daughter’s spot by responding to acceptance email within 48 hours or your roster position may be offered to another player.

PLAYERS

Arrive 15 minutes prior to tryout times to allow for check-in.

WHAT TO WEAR

• Athletic shorts and top
• Athletic (basketball) shoes with socks

WHAT TO BRING

• Water bottle
• Basketball
• A great attitude 

EVALUATION CRITERIA

• Shooting: Accuracy & form
• Dribbling: Control & speed 
• Passing: Chest & bounce
• Rebounding
• Defense: On ball & Off ball
• Intangibles: Game knowledge and hustle
