5th Grade Coach: Quinn Wirth

Quinn began coaching youth basketball during his
HS playing days, growing up in a small Illinois farm
town. He took a break from coaching to play DI
basketball at the U of Wyoming (the real UW!) and
was part of some outstanding teams, his last game
was in the old King Dome for an NCAA West Region
tourney game against UNLV. He also spent 10
years officiating as a referee for both HS and small
college basketball locally, his last game being an
NCAA DII West Region tourney game. He received
his break in coaching when he retired from
officiating and accepted a promotion to coach
Kindergarten basketball. Over the years, he has
assisted and coached a variety of rec and
competitive teams. He is super excited to coach
again in Redmond Select Basketball this season.
