Tournament Results:
Wolverine Classic (Nov 15-16): The boys opened with win over strong Inglemoor team, erasing 7 point halftime deficit. In game 2, the Mustangs could not overcome lopsided first half versus tournament champion Newport. The final game with Liberty included 15-1 lead with flawless 1st quarter but could not close out a tight game. Wait till these kids put it all together for a full game!
Seattle AAU Veterans Day Tourney (Nov 8-9): Kudos for making it to consolation bracket finals which included the best half of basketball played by these kids (hats off to Mercer Island team that battled to overcome Mustang halftime lead). Solid effort start to finish in Emerald City game to advance. Wow can these kids play defense!
Sammamish Hoops Invitational (Nov 1-2): Congrats to the kids making it to the Championship game against Mt. Si - a tournament well played with a lot of personal successes. Fun way to start the year off with a come from behind, double OT win over solid Woodinville team. These kids live the Redmond motto and play hard! |
